Kendra Silver believes counseling can be a powerful tool to help restore balance in one's life and relationships. She believes you seek out counseling to find the support and help you need to make changes in your life. Kendra offers a caring, supportive environment for you to explore yourself, your situation, and your relationships.
Kendra utilizes a systems approach to therapy and primarily employs solution focused interventions. Solution focused therapy capitalizes on the already existing strengths and resources of the family or individual. Often, when we are struggling, we forget our past successes and need support to bring these strengths and resources to the forefront. Kendra takes a collaborative and supportive approach in therapy. She practices empathetic listening while helping her clients develop greater awareness of their past and current successes and strengths.
At Foundations Counseling, Kendra works with clients who seek counseling for a variety of reasons, including:
Kendra earned her Master of Science Degree in Human Services with a specialization in Marital, Couple, Family Counseling / Therapy from the Harold Abel School of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Capella University.
