Erin Canon believes that everyone needs a safe and healing environment to work through the difficulties that life presents.  Using a person-centered perspective, Erin offers a welcoming, non-judgmental space where her clients are invited to utilize their strengths to maneuver through challenges and reach goals.  She believes that with courage and persistence, everybody will be successful in becoming their authentic self.


At Foundations Counseling, Erin Canon works with a wide variety of clients who may be seeking services that include:

Erin Canon has a Master of Social Work Degree from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a minor in Family and Child Studies from the University of New Mexico.  She practices through a collaborative, strengths-based lens while utilizing techniques from Narrative Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy.


Erin has been helping and supporting individuals and families for the past five years, when she began collaborating with Social Workers in the public school setting.  She has extensive experience working with children and families to help them overcome the effects of abuse and trauma.  That experience led her to obtain a Pre-K–12 School Social Worker Certification and later an advanced degree in Social Work.
