Keaton believes that all people have an array of different resources and strengths to engage in their own process of healing and self-actualization. However, at times, life experiences can cause constraints in our lives that can make it appear as though we are out of control. Keaton offers a compassionate, caring, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment that, when combined with his down-to-earth approach to therapy, can make the decision to regain control and embrace change through the therapeutic process much easier.
Keaton values the privilege to go on self-improvement journeys with clients and believes that with hard work, therapy can facilitate the removal of these challenges so that one can live a more healing and fulfilling life. He works with each individual’s personality and strengths to help them engage in the therapy process. By fostering physical and emotional safety, he helps clients bolster the courage they already possess in order to tolerate, face, and process pain. Keaton believes that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of finding the courage and strength to confront feelings and give them a voice.
