Kerri Childs is a National Certified Counselor She earned a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science / Kinesiology from Belmont University Kerri received additional training and certifications in Cultural Somatics, Psychological First Aid, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Complex Trauma Therapy She utilizes a trauma-informed, person-centered approach to counseling integrating traditional therapies, ecotherapy, and mindfulness. 
Kerri has been a mental health advocate for more than fourteen years Her passion for counseling evolved over decades of navigating the mental healthcare system as a mother, foster parent, and adoptive parent Kerri has experience working with diverse populations and an array of mental health concerns as a counselor and meditation teacher She is dedicated to her own healing journey, which involves honest self-reflection, compassion, and nature.
