Our foundational beliefs, values, experiences, and attitudes are exactly that, the foundation for everything that comes into our life to be built upon.  Much like building a home, if a stone in the foundation is skewed, the home is then structurally compromised.  When we experience trauma or negative experiences in life, everything that touches upon that foundation is compromised.  This can then lead to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, low self-esteem, suicidal thoughts, PTSD, and a loss of life direction, just to name a few possible results.

Tamera Fernando believes that we all have the ability to restructure our perspective and thought processes, and therefore, restructure our foundation.  We innately know what we individually need to lead successful, healthy, and fulfilling lives.  Tamera strives to provide a safe, supportive, and warm environment to help initiate the change that is needed and a journey toward that goal.

At Foundations Counseling, Tamera Fernando works with a wide variety of clients who may be seeking services that include:
