Charles Nix approaches counseling in a way where he works to understand the whole of the person and/or relationship. There are many things that influence who we are, and what we value. We have countless amounts of experiences, good and bad, as kids and through our adult years, that shape who we are. Charles is a dependable, warm, creative, and honest counselor, who will walk with you in this process and meet you where you are with understanding, and compassion. At Foundations Counseling, Charles Nix works with a variety of clients who seek services, including:

Charles Nix has a Master in Marriage and Family Therapy Degree from Abilene Christian University. He also received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Vocational Missions/Ministry from Abilene Christian University. Charles utilizes approaches from emotionally focused therapy (EFT), narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), child play therapy, and person-centered therapy.
Charles has found meaning and joy in working with others. He has worked alongside others throughout his entire life whether that was through sports, mentoring, or volunteer settings. Charles has a great deal of experience mentoring youth, coaching, and helping people with meaning, relational issues, and transitions.
