What Foundations Counseling is
Foundations Counseling is a group therapy practice, not a directory, a matching app, or a telehealth platform. Every counselor is licensed in Colorado and employed directly by the practice, which means the practice sets its own hiring standards, supervision, and clinical review rather than renting space to independent contractors.
The practice operates on a private-pay model by choice. Because no insurer is involved, no diagnosis is required to open a file, no treatment plan is submitted for external approval, session length and frequency are set clinically rather than by a benefits policy, and your mental health record is not shared with a payer. Who Foundations works with
Foundations provides individual, couples and marriage, family, child, adolescent, and group counseling. Children are seen from age 2 through 11 and adolescents from 12 through 18, with parents and caregivers involved as clinically appropriate.
