About Cierra
Cierra Denton believes that healing doesn't happen in isolation—it happens in connection. She offers a space where clients feel genuinely seen and understood, and where there's room for honesty, humor, and the whole messiness of being human. Therapy with Cierra isn't about fixing what's broken—it's about building something real, together.
Her approach is rooted in relationships. Whether she's sitting with a teenager sorting through identity, a couple navigating tension, or an individual moving through grief, Cierra brings presence, patience, and compassion to the work. She views the therapeutic relationship as a partnership—one that grows stronger as trust builds and defenses are softened.
Clients describe Cierra as down-to-earth, curious, and easy to talk to. Her sessions are collaborative, tailored to each person's needs, and grounded in a belief that people already hold many of the answers they're looking for—they just need a place to find them.
She works comfortably with people navigating transitions, loss, anxiety, identity shifts, or feeling stuck. She's particularly passionate about supporting teens, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and anyone going through a season of personal change or uncertainty.

Professional Background
Cierra earned her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Arkansas, and her undergraduate degree in Psychology, along with a minor in French. While in graduate school, she also worked as a wellness coach, supporting students in managing stress, navigating identity development, and navigating complex life transitions.
She's trained in several modalities, including:
- Relational-Cultural Therapy
- Gestalt Therapy
- Person-Centered Therapy
Her clinical experience includes work with adolescents, parents, college students, LGBTQ+ individuals, and adults in all stages of life. No matter who she's working with, Cierra shows up with curiosity and care, helping clients explore who they are, how they relate to others, and what it means to live with more clarity and connection.
Outside of the therapy room, Cierra finds joy in music, good conversation, time in nature, and the kind of art—whether books, lyrics, or films—that prompts thought long after the moment has passed. She brings that same appreciation for depth, meaning, and complexity into her work as a counselor.
She is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA).
