About Delaney

Delaney Adams sees therapy not as a way to “fix” someone, but as a way to offer support, build skills, and help clients face challenges with courage and clarity. She knows how tough anxiety, grief, and relationship struggles can be, and how quickly self-doubt or perfectionism can take hold. Her counseling is rooted in empathy, faith, and a strong belief in each person’s ability to grow, adapt, and find hope again.

Delaney brings a steady presence and real care to her work. Clients often say she is warm, compassionate, and easy to talk to. She creates a space where people feel safe to be honest about what’s difficult, what hurts, and what they hope for in the future. Whether someone is going through a breakup, dealing with parenting challenges, or struggling with anxiety, Delaney meets them where they are, without pressure or pretense.

As a counselor-in-training, Delaney uses evidence-based strategies along with a relational, values-driven approach. She adapts her care to each client, whether it’s a teen facing school stress, a couple working on communication, or someone looking for healing through faith. She helps people with anxiety, perfectionism, OCD, or self-worth issues, and is especially sensitive to clients with spiritual questions or those who want Christian-integrated therapy.

Clients who work with Delaney often feel more grounded, better able to handle daily stress, and more confident in their relationships. Her calm and steady presence helps clients slow down, reflect, and make changes that feel manageable and meaningful.

Delaney has a special passion for working with teens and young adults. She understands how challenging transitions, pressure, and figuring out identity can be. With adolescents, she focuses on building trust and offering support that fits their stage of life, while also helping families communicate better.

Outside of counseling, Delaney likes spending time with family and friends, singing, making music, and walking her Australian Labradoodle, Georgia. Because she has experienced anxiety herself, she uses what she has learned to bring authenticity, insight, and encouragement to every session.
