About Ryan

Ryan Battaglia believes therapy should be practical, honest, and collaborative. He understands that life can feel overwhelming—whether you’re managing daily stress, navigating significant transitions, or wrestling with deeper emotional pain. He also knows that with the right tools, insight, and support, it’s possible to move forward with more clarity, strength, and purpose.

Ryan creates a space where clients can be real. There’s no need to show up perfectly or have everything figured out. His goal is to meet people where they are—whether that’s in the middle of grief, stuck in a cycle of anxiety, or feeling disconnected from themselves or others. With warmth and a dose of humor when it’s needed, Ryan helps clients find steadiness in the chaos.

His approach to therapy is rooted in respect for the whole person. He helps clients identify their values, strengthen their relationships, and take meaningful steps toward the lives they want. He often incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and existential practices to support change while holding space for deeper reflection and personal insight.

Ryan is particularly passionate about working with men who are exploring their identity, emotional awareness, and what it means to show up authentically in relationships and daily life. He also works extensively with teens, young adults, and families navigating transitions, school stress, relationship breakdowns, or emotional overwhelm. His calm, relatable presence makes it easy for clients of all ages to open up and engage with the work.

Clients often describe Ryan as approachable, grounded, and encouraging. He brings lived experience to the counseling room, having walked his own path of growth and self-discovery, and is committed to helping others do the same.

Whether someone is exploring personal challenges, building healthier habits, or processing deeper emotional wounds, Ryan brings empathy, honesty, and a practical mindset to the process. His goal is not just to help clients get through challenging moments, but to help them build a life that feels full, purposeful, and truly their own.
