About Gayla

Gayla Joseph considers it an honor to walk alongside her clients in their healing process. She understands how difficult life can feel when you’re navigating uncertainty, loss, or disconnection—and she knows how transformative it can be to have someone truly listen. Therapy, in her view, is a space for rediscovery: of strength, clarity, values, and hope.

Gayla creates a therapeutic environment that is warm, steady, and nonjudgmental. She takes the time to understand not just the challenges her clients face, but the context, relationships, and life experiences that have shaped them. Her approach is collaborative and empowering, focused on helping individuals, couples, and families build resilience and move forward with confidence.

Whether she’s supporting a teen struggling with identity, a couple working through betrayal, or an individual coping with trauma or burnout, Gayla shows up with compassion and grounded presence. She believes that people already carry the capacity for change within them—sometimes they just need the right space to access it. That’s what she aims to provide.

Gayla works with a diverse range of clients, including professionals navigating work-life stress, families managing caregiving roles, and adolescents facing emotional or social pressures. She’s especially attuned to the ways that layered responsibilities—career, parenting, blended family dynamics, aging parents—can leave people feeling pulled in too many directions. Her goal is to help clients find their center, reconnect with what matters most, and rediscover a sense of purpose and peace.

In addition to her clinical training, Gayla brings decades of real-world experience in healthcare, business, and consulting. She understands the weight of leadership, the complexity of family roles, and the courage it takes to ask for help. Her perspective is both practical and deeply compassionate.
