About Lisa
Lisa Taylor believes that true healing involves more than just talking—it requires a connection between mind and body. She creates a grounded, supportive space where clients can explore their inner worlds, reconnect with their bodies, and move forward with renewed resilience. Her approach is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and rooted in both science and intuition.
Lisa specializes in somatic and mindfulness-based therapy, helping clients who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in a state of survival mode begin to feel safe, calm, and in control again. Whether it's through breathwork, creative expression, or body-based awareness, Lisa helps individuals reclaim a sense of peace and agency in their lives.
She works with children, teens, and adults facing anxiety, self-esteem challenges, trauma, and significant life transitions. Her work is especially impactful for those who may not have words for their pain, but who feel it deeply in their bodies and relationships. Lisa is known for her calm presence, gentle guidance, and ability to meet clients exactly where they are.
Clients often say they feel truly seen in her presence. With Lisa, there's no pressure to "perform" or "fix yourself"—only a steady invitation to heal, reconnect, and grow in a way that feels authentic and lasting.

She collaborated regularly with parents and teachers, emphasizing a whole-system approach to healing. She also brings experience working with substance use, anger, and crises in both community and family settings.
Lisa is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and continues to engage in professional development to support her trauma-informed, body-centered, and creative therapeutic style.
Outside of the therapy room, Lisa finds her sense of peace in nature. She enjoys hiking, camping, and skiing in the Colorado mountains with her dog, Jerry. She's also a passionate baker, lifelong rock collector, and avid reader—especially of psychological thrillers and personal development books.
